What can you learn from me? Maybe something?
1. If you don't like your doctors, change them. Keep changing until you find one you like.
2. If your meds have horrible side-effects, you do not have to "put-up" with them. I have found that the side-effects make the original disorder even worse. So, if you find yourself at this point, try new meds.
3. Set alarms on your cell phone. I have one for waking up. One for morning meds. One for evening meds. One for bedtime. If I don't set these alarms, I will not take my meds or sleep consistently. In this area of my life, I will rarely budge. I make sure I follow a schedule.
4. Find a hobby. Mine is venting and cursing, helping those in need, and writing about my experiences through blogging, tweeting, and Facebooking.
